New Favorite Piece of the Internet: Anywhere Pogo Is!

Pogo tracks & videos are what you need in your life! This guy uses clips from movies, adds a little extra fun stuff, and its exciting and fun! The music has an ambient/chill sound and are awesome on their own but paired with the visual of spliced scenes from the movie they're amazing. There's a sense of beauty and magic while you're listening and watching. Its fun to see the timing of events, movements, beats, and sounds in their synchronicities. Granted it is a bit repetitive its not a repetition that you mind, I actually forgot about it. I became entranced!! I watched the Hook one 3 times in a row! Then I proceeded to follow and click on every link that lead to him and I had an account on xD Someone said he was reminiscent of Moby and I'll add Susumu Hirasawa to the mix 'cause that's what I thought of off rip.
Its like another way to experience your childhood! He's done movies such as Alice in Wonderland, Hook, Harry Potter, and Mary Poppins. Once you listen-and watch the vids especially-your childhood will thank you.

And now I introduce to you a few of my faves for your enjoyment

Alice seems to be the most popular and the one that started it all

This one started it all for me and is the most exciting & magical in my opinion!

There's a Harry Potter one so of course I had to add it! I love that it uses the spell Ron attempted to turn Scabbers yellow. AND it has the Richard Harris Dumbledore xD

Mary Poppins! This makes the children seem sweeter and Mary even MORE fun!

This one makes me wish the candy store in the mall was just as bangin! I'd be there everyday

This vid's a little different than the others in that it doesn't use a movie, but Vader's got some pretty pimp dance moves. You know you gon' try 'em next time you in the club!

My Name Is ___, and I'm a Lexical Neophiliac

So, I love words to ridiculousness! I know I'm supposed to be catching you up on my adventures at AFO and my Incubus concert (and I will, but still), but in my incessant internetery haunting I found a lovely and fun article about word attraction and why, and I was really excited! Apparently there was one written a week prior about word aversion which I will have to check out as well just for the sake of knowing what types of words people don't like and why. Probably for negative connotations and the like. Though I beg to differ with the author about syphilis-I do find it fun to say though I would never want to get it.
Anyway, I enjoyed the article because it was nice and fun to gain insight into what types of words people like. Its almost like a guilty pleasure of sorts (haha, imagine word porn!). It was also great to see some words that other people are making up and peddling to...whoever reads or hears them and is fascinated by them, such as myself. I love discovering and making up new words-whether they're actually real or not. Once I've made it up its just as real as anything in the dictionary. Hey, muggle made it in there-prior to JK Rowling and Harry Potter it didn't exist! Shakespeare made up words too that are still in the English language to this day!!
Also, as much as it kinda pains me, I think defriend was up for inclusion in the dictionary (I read it somewhere but I don't remember exactly where soo, don't quote me on that? I could look it, but I'm not). So, you never know!

For your entertainment here are a few of my favorite words. In general I like big words or those that are hard to pronounce or that only a dictionary could love. I also have a list longer than I can remember so here's whatever pops in my head:

*Czechoslovakia-my 5th grade class hated me for this when we made our own spelling lists
*tovarish-I'm not even sure if that's the right way to spell it, which makes me sad, but I heard it on Trinity Blood and liked it
*bicicleta
*randomosity
*majide
*entity
*shite
*nepenthe
*codswallop
*dodecahedron
*cacophony
*schizophrenia
*iliopsoas
*idiosyncratic
*somnambulance
*pseudo
*superfluous
*labyrinth
*onomatopoeia
*doppelganger
*Thonotosassa

I'm gonna come out of my trance and stop now =D
